The Main Street Creative Corridor is where the Arkansas Repertory Theatre, Ballet Arkansas, Little Rock Technology Park are housed. It is also home to several galleries and creative businesses. MacArthur Park Historic District

The MacArthur Park Neighborhood includes about fifty square blocks surrounding historic MacArthur Park. It was Little Rock’s first neighborhood and there are still several homes from the 1840’s and the 1860’s standing today. Access to the park as well as to the commercial and office spaces of the center of downtown make this the perfect place to live as a young professional.

Governor's Mansion Historic District

The Governor’s Mansion Historic District surrounds the governor’s mansion and is located directly south of downtown’s center, which offers convenient access to excellent schools, churches, Arkansas Children’s Hospital, as well as the rest of downtown’s entertainment venues!

SoMa District

South Main (SoMa) is a recently revived and growing area that is especially popular with young people because of the lower price points and the plethora of sustainable and locally owned businesses. Hipsters of all ages welcome. Come check out The Root for outstandingly good vegan food, Loblolly if you like small-batch, locally made ice cream, or Moxie for quirky gifts and goods.

The East Village was, in very recent memory, nothing more than a collection of empty foundries, cotton mills, warehouses, and freight yards. Now it has been completely revived and is home to the Clinton Presidential Center and Park, Heifer International World, E-Stem Charter Schools, The Rail Yard bar, Cat’s Head Diner, and many other local institutions.
